Potatoes
4 large potatoes, peeled and sliced
Pork
Salt and pepper
Pinch of nutmeg
240 ml cream
2 cloves garlic crushes (or 10 ml garlic salts)
Pinch Sage
Pinch Nutmeg
Salt and pepper
4 pork chops (no rind)
25 grams butter
100 grams apple sauce
150 ml cream
First cook the potatoes until soft
Meanwhile .....
Rub pinch of sage and pinch of nutmeg into pork chops
Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees
Half fill a shallow dish with sliced potatoes
Sprinkle potatoes with salt, pepper and pinch of nutmeg
Pour cream into bowl, add garlic and stir mixing well
Cover potatoes with the mixture and bake for one hour
In a large frying pan, melt the butter and fry the porkchops
Remove the pork chops, keeping the frying pan warm
Add the apple sauce and cream to the pan
Stir until thick
Pour over the chops
